Everyone has a story and His is my favorite. He created the people He wanted in this world and He chose YOU. Think about that for a moment; truly, stop and process that concept for a minute. He chose YOU. He created YOU for a purpose.
 

Hello, my name is Melissa. I am the founder and owner of Olive Branch Collection. I come from a family of five; youngest of three girls; now a mother of three beautiful children and a blessed wife to my childhood best friend.
 

Although I have grown to love my story too, I have not always been able to say such a statement. I had a healthy upbringing with family, friends, faith, and food to make me feel complete. Little did I know the story God had written for me was not as complete as I once thought. Fast forward into my young adult life and mental health had taken a front row seat and things were out of control. I tried to solve things on my own and well, I will summarize it as unsuccessful.   

Through the ups and downs, God was writing my story and teaching me lessons along the way.  He was teaching me honesty, appreciation, love, compassion, forgiveness, contentment, patience, to name a few, in a way I had not previously known. I have built a relationship with God and I truly believe He has led me to where I am supposed to be; a child of His, starting a small business, creating gifts with all things rooted in faith in the hopes of spreading His promise.  Our life on earth is hard; having a personal relationship with Him will help; I am living proof.
 

My prayer for the person reading this right now, YOU, is to find a relationship with our Lord and to see your own story as beautiful as He sees it.
